Premier Division
FC Romania 5 Sawbridgeworth Town 1
FCR are into second spot and only three points behind leaders Redbridge after they hit five at home to an recently in form Robins at Theobalds Lane. The hosts saw George Taban put them in front in the 23rd minute with a fine low effort however former FCR forward Toby Cleaver levelled for Sawbo in the 36th minute when his header was adjudged to be over the line. But the hosts restored their lead eight minutes into the second period when Florin Pop slotted home and then with just under twenty minutes remaining the hosts netted two in two minutes to take the game away from the visitors, firstly seeing a Marius Teleoca corner go straight in and then secondly an effort from Adrian Balsanu in their own half lobbed keeper Matt Bonini. FCR then added a late fifth through Sergiu Maximov as they ended the contest in style and recorded a notable win over a decent side in Sawbo, who remain 11th after this setback.

Sporting Bengal United 4 Waltham Forest 1
Hosts Sporting overcame an early setback to record a stunning win over Waltham Forest at Mile End. Forest started quickly, very quickly, when they grabbed a dream start when Maxwell intercepted a throw and teed up Owusu who netted after just 29 seconds of the contest. Instead of crumbling though Bengal fought back to level when lobbing over keeper Seetah, and then went on front when a free kick was flicked on and then slotted home. And they increased their lead further still from the spot to lead 3-1 at the break, before adding a late fourth with another penalty, this after Hewitt had struck the bar for Forest. Sporting’s win sees them up to 14th and with a gap of six points to the bottom four, whilst Forest remain 16th, four points above the bottom four.
