Lew Roberts gave Takeley an early lead before this was quickly doubled by Jason Todd; when Will Green added a third soon after the tie was pretty much over inside the opening half hour. And the visitors saw Matt Gill add a late fourth to seal a fine win and set up a home Quarter Final against Hullbridge Sports.

Tower Hamlets 2 Sawbridgeworth Town 2

The Robins managed to salvage a draw after surrendering a 1-0 lead at Mile End against Tower Hamlets. After taking the lead in the 20th minute via the boot of Oliver Cleaver,  the visitors then saw Hamlets level through Kane Wilson before Montell Williams then gave the hosts the lead. However the visitors managed to level once again as Aaron Thomas hit the net, meaning that his side left East London with something to show for their efforts. The point takes the hosts up to 7th whilst Sawbo rise a place to 14th.

Woodford Town 2017 3 Southend Manor 3

Southend Manor pulled off a great escape after coming back from 3-0 down to end up with a share of the spoils after an amazing comeback at Goffs Lane. Gemal M Nfodjo, Yusuf Topal and Malaki Toussaint all bagged goals inside the opening half hour which put the Woods very much in the driving seat. Rhys Fatt pulled a goal back just before the break but Manor still had a mountain to climb as they went into the second period. Lee Delf pulled a further goal back on the hour and the comeback was completed when Ellis Skidmore struck in the 88th minute. Woodford Town are 10th after this encounter, Southend Manor are one place below.
